Great news! James and I are the proud owners of a "new to us" car! We are now able to go on road trips!!! We're so excited to have a car again after not having one for almost 6 months. It's amazing how much we are able to appreciate having a car after not having one, and having to rely on public transit and friends to drive us around!Our first trip together was two weeks ago. I took James to my favourite spots so far. Springbrook National Park, which is an hour south of Brisbane. Even though it was raining, we went for a hike to the bottom of the waterfall, and continued on along a path that ran alongside the river. Just like Australia is massive, everything along the trail was at a massive scale - the rocks, trees and plants! After visiting the park, we continued south about an hour to Fingal Head Beach! It's amazing how close in proximity these two vastly different landscapes are!! :)
